The UAE's Thuraya Satellite Telecommunications Company plans to launch its third satellite into orbit in 2007. Officials told Gulf News that the project is on plan for delivery from Boeing Satellite Systems in June 2006 or a few months earlier. Thuraya 3 is a back-up for Thuraya 2.
