Indonesia: Satellite Service To Ease Taiwan Earthquake Impact (Nasdaq)
JAKARTA -(Dow Jones)- Indonesia will temporarily lift restrictions on corporate access to a government telecommunications satellite to ease regional service disruptions caused by the earthquake Tuesday off the southern coast of Taiwan, a senior government minister said Thursday.

The French national space agency (CNES) has launched a new satellite, which has a mission to detect planets orbiting other stars besides our own. The satellite is called COROT, which stands for "Rotation and Planetary Transits." The satellite will monitor 120,000 stars as it looks for new planets.
